Looking for a Director of Software Development who will lead multiple teams across analysis, development, and support and product management to build and launch solutions. Prefer someone who is currently working in an Agile environment. They are a Microsoft shop so someone who manages over teams doing Microsoft C# .net development, Back End web application and Front End application development. Must have strong experience managing a budget.

Position Summary:

The Director of Software Developmentwill be responsible for in the delivery of engaging and innovative IT projects. This role will create and lead the overall strategy for prioritizing and executing projects to provide a world class experiencefor internal and external customers. As a key leader, the Director of Software Development will be responsible for multiple teams across analysis, development, support, and product management to build and launch solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience in a technical IT environment.

Minimum of 6 years' direct leadership experience.

Proven success in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or experience in a related technical field.

Strong customer focus with a track record for driving delivery and operational performance improvements across an organization.

Excellent follow up skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems and adapt to different work environments.

This role will require hands-on project management skills, technical expertise, and excellent leadership skills.

Travel requirements of up to 20% to provide on-site support for projects.

This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Demonstrated effective planning and organizational skills through previous work assignments.

The ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication, including strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate technical speak' to a non-technical audience
