Our E-commerce Manager position is ideal for you if you're interested in an active, progressive, fun environment!


Manage the development, expansion and continuous improvement of the E-commerce website with particular focus on visual merchandising, product placements, on-site promotion management, site navigation, functionality, ease of shopping and community blogs. Manage daily activities that include orders, returns, shipments, backorders, etc.

Convey, present and teach a consistent brand image that attracts and retains customer sales through

Partner with others to develop, deliver and measure online marketing campaigns.

Direct e-mail blasts and measure the effectiveness of those and other key performance metrics for sales and site visits.

Bring great ideas and implement them. Measure for success.

Create and implement promotional programs including bundles, cross-sells, giveaways, repeat business, product selection, and positioning. Track and report on detailed results by promotion.

Execute periodic online planning calendars towards timely delivery of scheduled content and offers.

Manage the technical web platform and meet/exceed all given sales goals and expense targets.

Collaborate with development and software teams to facilitate ease in online transactions, functionality and aesthetics and work on continuous improvement and upgrading to maximize and capitalize on success.

Review analytics for visitor behavior and implement strategies for positive change.

Assure our competitive advantage through various methods of researching the landscape.

Interact with Division Managers, Customer Services, Store Managers and Store Associates, Outside Sales, customers and others in the training, functionality and use of

Focus on profitably driving high-volume traffic to increase on-line customer base utilizing lifetime value calculations through: SEM, SEO, Ad Words, Affiliates, Linking, social media, WOM, Co-Reg placements, and other key sources.

Lead team to assure satisfactory representation of all products online including comprehensive information, appropriate photos, related products on each product page, inclusion in appropriate categories and timely price changes. Develop and execute a plan for routine reviews of products with merchants.

Work with Account Managers to introduce/revisit our E-commerce capabilities to owners, C-Suite, estimators, and procurement personnel. Partner with them, and Supply Chain Management for merchandise planning; timely and accurate product delivery, and others.


3-5 years of technical, web, Back Office, or other expertise with focus on E-commerce.

Ability to articulate and drive a vision and strategy that inspires and motivates others to understand, meet and exceed expectations.

Knowledge and understanding of the algorithms and components of SEO.

Web and item maintenance, troubleshooting and a watchful eye on all item and customer databases via an integration scheduler.

Strong analytical, planning, forecasting, and budgeting/financial skills.

Highly developed interpersonal skills. Instinctive about and aligned with customers.

Ability to positively influence and persuade others within and across departments, including stubborn or resistant people!

High technical proficiency including expertise with ERP (ours is Dynamics AX2012) and CRM, and Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel (emphasis on Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook.

A creative style and can compose and edit written materials that are presentation-ready, aesthetically pleasing and highly effective.

A 4-year degree in a field of technical focus including Web Development, Business Marketing, Internet Marketing, or other closely related.
